Living in Wonder

Winter sailing makes you believe
You get soaked to the bone
In a whitecap spray
Every sailor knows you
Can’t control the sea
Wind and waves might carry you away

Then late winter melts into spring
And flowers are the song that April sings

Pastures turn leprechaun green
Time to let the grazing begin

Seasons are signs of our times
Some whisper, some roar through our lives
Don’t hesitate to turn on a dime
Nature keeps us living in wonder

When the sun hides its face for a day
A host of clouds are having their way
When the full moon lights the night on a Lovers Lane
High tides will be dancin again

Seasons are signs of our times
Some whisper, some roar through our lives
Don’t hesitate to turn on a dime
Nature keeps us living in wonder

Tell me can you feel a sudden change in the wind
A chill in the air, feel shivers within

A white mist in the morning creeps down the hill
Now is the time the colors of Autumn begin

When the thunder heads in summer revive
Animals find a safe place to hide
Cause when a cold front meets the heat of the day
They’ll be pickin a fight, stay clear of that fray

When the first snow blankets the green
A hush falls, silence remains

Wide eyes fill the windows with glee
Little ones know a snow day’s on its way

Seasons are signs of our times
Some whisper, some roar through our lives
Don’t hesitate to turn on a dime
Nature keeps us living in wonder

Keeps us, keeps us livin
Livin in wonder
